It is not amazing that today’s colors look wrong on 1920s, 1930s, 1940s architecture. We have collected some 50 original color brochures of Pratt-Lambert, Benjamin Moore, Wesco, Sillers, Du Pont, Fuller, Pitsburgh, and Atlas, from the 1920-40s.
When you choose a 1930 color for a 1930 house, it looks so right. I can not find any of these older colors in any of the new color fan decks! Taking the guess work out of color selection, is a life saver.
